We took Jack to the Winter Wonderland festival they had on base this weekend. It was supposed to be a chance for the kids to play in the snow and games, etc. It turned out to not be as good as we'd hoped, so we left and went out to dinner!! It was actually the first time it was just the 4 of us going out for dinner. Jack is at the age where EVERYTHING is fun to touch and sitting still is nearly impossible so Garrett was anticipating the worst---but to our delight, Jack was REALLY good. I actually think he was just starved--he ate 3 pieces of pizza!! Anyway--for a treat, I let him get an ice cream cone for the ride home. The pictures below show what awaited me when we got home.
