Getting Ready for Bed...

Perfect Saturday

We took the kids down to Ventura Beach for a bike ride along the coast last Saturday. After our ride, we stopped at the pier for lunch and to play at the park on the beach--it was another awesome day in Southern California!

New Developments!

This pretty little girl is all over the place now--she's turned into a speed crawler! It's another bittersweet first for Mommy. I love that she's developing so well, but I just can't believe it's time for her to be crawling all over and pulling herself up!

Bike Rides!

After what seems like ages of talking about getting bikes, we finally made a decision and bought bikes! We have REALLY enjoyed having them and the kids love our bike rides.

Potty Training

It took about a month but he did it, Jack is finally potty trained! We still have the occasional accident but I'm so proud of my little man! I have certainly learned my lesson though, and if we have another boy--I will NOT be starting as early as I did with Jackson (2 yrs. 4 months). The pics below sum up our journey.

Crawling Girl & Crazy Jack

Look who rang the doorbell at our house.

I swear I dress him normally in the morning...he just really likes hats and "pack packs"

This video is a little over a month old so Grace is twice as fast as this, but I loved how she was crawling to see the baby! That sweet baby on the computer is my friend Allison's new baby girl, Maddy. Maddy's sister Abby was Jack's first friend when we moved to California and even though they now live on the East Coast we still keep in touch!
