Ventura County Fair

We woke up yesterday and couldn't decide what to do, and then I remembered it was the last day of the Ventura County Fair! So glad I did, because we had the best time!

Jack saw LOTS of animals...
Including "Bob"--his brown horse at home is Bob!
He played his first "fair game"--Fishin' for Ducks
...and won a prize!! (NOT a goldfish, thank goodness!)
Daddy even played a couple games!
Ice cream was our last stop of the day--SUCH a fun day!

Sea World

The day after Garrett got home, we had to make the trip to San Diego for a school he had to attend the next week. (gotta love the Navy sometimes!) So...we made the best of it and did our annual free trip to Sea World! This year was much more fun because Jack was older and loves animals. He wasn't too much of a fan of Shamu, or the rides in the Sesame Street Play Area--but all in all, it was a great day!

touching the starfish!
we stood in line for 1/2 an hour for this ride....
and then he freaked out and wouldn't go on it!!!

Daddy's Home!!

Garrett hasn't seen his 2 cuties in 7 weeks, may not seem too long to you but in that 7 weeks his daughter learned to walk, and his son grew about 2 inches and is now talking nonstop! All 3 are ready to be reunited!

Garrett's call sign is "Moose" so I made the kids shirts with his picture on the front and their handprints as moose antlers, the back said "We "MOOSED" you, Daddy"

Girl on the Move!

Grace took her first steps about 2 1/2 weeks ago and now she is a Girl on the Move! Walking EVERYWHERE! She still prefers crawling if she needs to get somewhere in a hurry, but for the most part--we've got 2 walkers in the house! Jackson walked at 10 months, and Grace at 9 1/2...does this mean future babies will be walking at birth?! GEEZ kids--slow down! Garrett hasn't seen her walk in person yet so Gracie is looking forward to showing off her skills and *new shoes* for Daddy soon!
